Joshua Hutchins

Training:

Biography:

Josh has followed an interesting path to his goal of making a career in the fitness industry. He started his higher education at UNC-Pembroke where he received a full scholarship to play baseball, a career cut short by a shoulder injury. This event actually planted the seeds for his path later in life. After transferring and later graduating from NC State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences, Josh went to work at the Carnivore Preservation Trust in Pittsboro NC where he eventually served as Head Animal Keeper and supervised the care of over 250 large carnivores.

After Josh left CPT he immersed himself in his true passion, the study and instruction of fitness and human physiology. He acquired his first certification through the American Council on Exercise and moved to Boca Raton, Florida. Here, Josh began studying at the Fitness Institute while he simultaneously built and developed his personal training client base. Working at a high volume health club in the fast-paced lifestyle of South Florida, Josh gained enormous experience by working with a wide range of clients with varying needs and fitness levels.

Since being back in Raleigh Josh has earned one of the most respected certifications in the physical fitness industry becoming a "Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist" and established Core Results Inc. He has dedicated himself to helping as many people as he can lead a healthier lifestyle while building a team of personal trainers that are some of the most qualified fitness professionals in the Triangle.

Josh spends his free time traveling with his wife Rae, a vet practicing at the NC State Veterinary Hospital, and staying active by hiking with his two beagles, playing volleyball, and coaching youth league baseball.

Rob comes to Core Results by way of Peace College where he has served as the Cross Country coach for nine years and an Instructor in Physical Education & Health for the last eleven. While having extensive real world experience in coaching athletes, he also has some of the most impressive fitness credentials you’ll find. Rob’s career path in fitness should not come as a surprise to anyone; he was after all a three sport athlete at Hunt High School in Wilson, NC. However, running has always been his first love saying, “My first race was a 10k, and I was hooked! I have been running ever since.”

When Rob is not teaching, coaching, training clients, or running himself, he enjoys spending time with his wife Cindy and their two boys Perry (8) and Sawyer (3).

“I enjoy coaching for the same reason I enjoy personal training, which is the opportunity to facilitate positive change in others. While we typically focus on the physical aspect of wellness whether coaching or training, the growth experienced in each of the domains of wellness (physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, social, and environmental) is what excites me.”

I have lost inches, weight and am much more fit. All the reviews that were written about Josh’s abilities, talents and personality are true.
