Aaron Hosking Profile Picture

Originally from Connecticut, Aaron has always had a passion for sports, movement, and helping others perform at their best. A three-sport athlete in soccer, basketball, and baseball, Aaron’s athletic career took an unexpected turn after being diagnosed with Marfan syndrome. That experience ultimately helped shape his approach to personal training: helping people move better, build strength, and exercise safely and effectively.

Aaron earned his B.S. in Exercise Science from Roanoke College and has continued his education with specialized training in corrective exercise, functional movement, and pain-free performance. He is a Pain-Free Performance Specialist and Functional Movement Specialist and is currently working toward becoming a Medical Exercise Specialist. He is also CPR and First Aid certified.

Aaron is also a familiar face at Core Results Personal Training. Before undergoing heart surgery in 2021, he spent several years training clients at our Cary personal training studio, helping people of varying ages and fitness levels improve their strength, movement, and overall fitness.

Having personally experienced years of pain and physical limitations, Aaron understands the importance of proper movement and individualized exercise programming. Following his heart surgery, he carefully programmed his own training and rehabilitation, eventually returning to full activity and completing his first half-Ironman just a year and a half later.

Today, Aaron brings that experience and perspective back to Core Results. His training philosophy focuses on understanding each client’s individual needs and developing a personalized program to improve strength, mobility, movement quality, and overall function.

Whether you want to get stronger, move more comfortably, return to exercise after time away, or simply feel more confident in everyday life, Aaron believes effective personal training should meet you where you are and help you make sustainable progress.
